July 26, 2007, 5:57 pmWe have no excuses. It's been a couple of weeks since the show and the last blog and we had promised to try and keep updates more regular. Well, from now on that's what we are going to do.....hopefully.So what's new. Here's a sketch some of you may have seen in progress. It's apparently from Two Lane Blacktop, another of Alan's weird 70's films that has cars in it. He says he won't be painting it but you never know. I do know from the response he has had from the Transporter sketch that he will be painting that very, very soon.... But what is he painting. Here's the preparation for a piece that should be ready for the London Film and Comic Convention. Can you tell what it is yet.... Finally COMPETITION TIME. We have had a great idea for a competition. Do you own one of our paintings or prints? Send us a photo of it on your wall or where ever else you have it displayed along with your name. We will set up a new page to show all your pictures of our pictures. At the end of August we will have a prize draw of all the entrants and the winner will receive an original sketch drawn by Alan of a film of their choice. Ooops, Alan has asked me to add "within reason", so Paul you can't have 'Sloth' from the Goonies. To get the ball rolling here is one of Alan's commissions, owned by Craig (sorry for calling you Colin) hanging on a wall in Australia. Shouldn't that be the other way up? We will post all entries here every couple of days before adding them to our owners gallery page (when I've set it up). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4 Comments:<< Home |
