December 30, 2007, 5:29 pmmerry xmas and a happy new yearWell, Christmas is almost over and it's time to get your drinking hat on for New Year. I hope you are all having or have had a great time and that Santa bought you what you hoped for. He bought me lots of new drawing pens and pencils and stuff. I don't know how he knows to get stuff you want, but he does!! Anyway I thought I'd let you see what I've been up to with my new pens and pencils. I think it's a bit Christmassy because it's got snow in it. The sketch is 0.5m wide (the same size as Jason's Top Gun sketch) and we are going to investigate whether it is possible to turn this into a giclee on archival cartridge paper at the same size if anyone's interested. The competition will close at the beginning of January and I will decide which entries will make the top ten for the vote off. The voting should start next weekend hopefully. I have been hard at work on some new paintings as well. Who you may ask and you would be right. Anyway I am off for some pre News Years Eve drinking practice (just in case I've lost the taste). It was a Christmas Birthday present and I am about to share this with you all.You'll probably all know by now that I'm quite keen on Alan painting a scene from perhaps one of the greatest non gay films in the world - Top Gun. Well, he's one step closer. He's done this:   Ok, it's a sketch, but its a pretty damn hot one at that. It's mine, it's on my wall, and you only get to see it on here. So there :::::raspberry::::: On a side note, I don't know what on earth Alan means by updatng stuff in the next 24 hours.
