::: SITE UPDATE :::

I have updated the shop pages with the new Wez print which was unveiled at the Memorabilia show earlier in August. The home page was also updated to take you straight into the 2005 Collection when you enter the shop.
We will be updating the homepage with a new design in the next week or so which will include a direct link to our ebay shop.

I also want to tell you about our advert that will be appearing in Total Film soon but I can't as I need to get a drink and settle down for the next episode of lost on E4.

Here is a photo of the stand from the weekend. Alan took this picture which then leaves the question where am I. I hope that i am in the bar getting another drink. Lager dash and a mickey mouse please.

First person to email me telling me what a Mickey Mouse is will be sent a free mini print.

I had to stick another picture to the left hand edge as Alan's photo composition isn't anywhere near as good as his art!!

Well, another weekend exhibition is now over. Early mornings, long days, sore feet, but its great hearing all the comments people make as they walk past our stand.

"Look, theres Ash, Oooh, Mad Max 2, Wez, I don't know which one to get",
"These are great!",
"I'll have that one and that one".

Its great getting such positive feedback.

One of the highlights was when one of our customers came back and returned his Fast and Furious print which he'd bought along with the General Lee. A highlight you ask. Yes, he returned the print and bought the original. Well, his parents bought him the original as a 21st birthday present. Aparantly he'd been going around the rest of the show after visiting our stand going on about how much he liked it.

Definitely doing the November show (27th/28th).

Anyway, Monday night quiz down the Bulls Head tonight.

Here is a photo of the new range that we will be showing off at the weekend. You can see the completed Darth Maul canvas and the Stormtrooper at the top left. We are producing 30 prints of each of these images and there will be a series of images. There are 4 that will be available at the weekend. Darth Maul, Stormtrooper, Darth Vader and General Grievous.

I promised that I would post something up which will show you a painting in progress. If you click this link it will load in a pop up window.

Also we have got a new range of images to show off at the weekend which are a little different to our normal range. They still follow along the film imagery route but they almost have a more intimate, personal feel. There are currently 4 images available and they will be limited to 30 only and they are also a completely different size to the normal range. You could say that they are more like busts as opposed to full size statues. We will have these up on our ebay shop after the show.

I have spent 2 hours trying to write this in between the advert breaks on LOST. Just watching the next episode on E4. I'm liking this program. Alot.

A few people have emailed in asking what other 'eyes' we have done. Here is a picture of the eyes from The Grudge that I thought you would like to see.

Preparations for Memorabilia

We started preparing for Memorabilia on Friday night. Normmally our preparations involve working out what we should be taking with us. Making sure there are enough mounts in stock, bagging, etc etc. This time we dscided we would prepare by sitting in o'neills on Broad Street for about 5 hours drinking ourselves silly. Not much got done on Saturday either strangely enough.

We will be getting everything ready over the next few days. One of the things we will be able to do is accept credit card payments through PayPal whilst we at the show. We will have a computer down at the show and will be able to connect to the web using bluetooth. This has always been a restriction before but we are trying to adapt our business to match the demands of the consumer (God that sounded a bit corporate didn't it).

I am going to put something up towards the end of the week which will should show you a painting in progress. We have been taking photographs of one of the paintings to try and give a time lapse feel and I am aiming to have this up before the show on Friday. Check back later.

Check this out.

These are a couple of 20cmx20cm canvases that we have painted. We have a few more that we are looking at doing. They will only be available as canvasses so we won't be doing any prints. We will have these with us at Memorabilia.

Talking of Memorabilia we just found out today that Vernon Wells (of Mad Max fame) won't be appearing on the 13th/14 August which kind of puts the dampeners on something that I was planning on unveiling to you all this weekend. I think I'll still unveil it though - so check back again.

OK, the competition is now closed to new entries. Voting has started.
We'd like like to thank everybody who took the time to enter and also for some of the additional comments left by people who entered after seeing us at Earls Court.

Please take the time to read through the entries and also to vote.

The image with the most votes will then go forward to be painted by Alan and we will produce a set of limited edition prints. The person who made the suggestion for the most voted for print will receive print number 1 and we will also hold a random draw for everyone who emails in after voting.

Click here to enter prize draw or send an email to jason@invisibleincdesign.com and put COMPETITION in the subject line.
