October 31, 2005, 8:47 pmIt seems that people didn't seem to grasp the concept that we paint a painting and then produce prints from it. So I have just finished uploading a new front page to the website. It shows Sue holding the original painting of the clonetroopers. Hopefully people will now realise that we don't just press a couple of buttons on a computer. posted by Jason 0 comments--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- October 27, 2005, 5:31 pmAt last, here it is, the invisibleincdesign 2006 calendar. It will be A4 (210mm x 297mm) portrait with 2 months to view (6 calendar pages) printed on rives textured art paper - the same stuff we print our limited edition prints onto. I have created a page so that you can all see what people would like to see us paint. Click here or look to the right and click on the link in the competitions box.Once we have whittled down the entires into a selection of images that we think will fit within our portfolio, I will open up the entries for voting. There is still time to enter the competition so keep on entering. posted by Jason 0 comments --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- October 20, 2005, 10:14 amI was checking through our webstats this morning and came across a link that had been made from a site to ours. It was from a site called PixelsUSA.com. They have basically taken everyone who has advertised on MillionDollarHomepage and created an index which people can vote on for their favourite site. So, dear readers, the purpose of this blog is to get InvisibleIncDesign up to the Number 1 spot. That should do it. posted by Jason 0 comments --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- October 14, 2005, 9:53 pmAlan has been busy this last few weeks. Not only has he been finishing of the images we will be exhibiting at Memorabilia in November, he has also been working on a commission for a client. It is a series of American Muscle Cars. The first image can be seen by clicking the commisions link at the top of the screen. posted by Jason 0 comments--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- October 12, 2005, 9:09 pm:: UPDATE ::I have been asked to point out by Sue that she had been fetching, carrying, unwrapping, rewrapping, "hold this", "move that" and generally bossed around all day by Alan on the day that most of those photos were taken. She was also not too amused when she was told that I would be putting the images online for all to see. I have also been asked to tell you that she isn't a miserable person and that I should publicly apologise for even suggesting it in the first place. So here it is - Sorry Sue. :: ENDS :: posted by Jason 0 comments --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So here it is. The final image in the 2005 collection. Alan has spent quite a while working on this picture. It has been a labour of love. Well, it was a special request by Sue, Alans wife. Sue is the miserable looking woman in the gallery originals pages (I really hope she doesn't read my updates!!) In all honesty I think that Alan has been putting this one off for most of the year because it was a request by his wife, just like when they ask you to put some shelves up and then you finally get round to doing six months later!! The original painting of this wont be for sale as it will be hanging in Chez Rimell for the forseeable future. posted by Jason 0 comments --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- October 08, 2005, 8:38 amWell our advert is out in print at last - Total Film - Nov Issue. We were hoping that Bo Duke was going to be there signing but he pulled out the other week. Catherine Bach (Daisy Duke) was still scheduled for signing so Alan went to get her signature."It'll only take a few hours," he says nonchanantly, "straight there, get it signed and straight back - no problem". HA. Little did he know that I had arranged for some slight delays for him on the motorway!! 5 hours he was sat on the motorway for. Poetic justice I call it. I had to endure a day spent with the kitchen designer from B&Q and then drove to MFI to sit with their kitchen designer. Black Friday we are calling it. Anyway here is a picture of the signed print - looks like she wrote an essay on it. We never get the canvasses signed by the famous people. Oh, and you know how fit Daisy Duke was in the series? Well, just savour that image!!!!! Nuff said. posted by Jason 0 comments --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
