March 29, 2006, 10:10 pmWell, some of you are going to be very disappoined. We have only got 2 Clonetrooper prints left. That now takes us to the second of our prints to sell out. Hurry, whilst stocks last! This is a picture of our stand at the NEC from the weekend. I know regular visitors will probably be saying "Why does it always look they there is no one at their stand. They obviously weren't very busy!" but you have to take into consideration we were at the NEC for 7am, probably before most of you had even woken up - except for those of you with young children of course  Any how, I'd like to say thanks to Jodie, who, when she saw the George Clooney painting burst out with "Oh my god, i want it, i want it, i want it, i want it" left the show with that, with that, with that - well nearly. She's picking up the original canvas at the end of the month. We also have a commission, but I can't say anymore as it is a surprise (not for you, but for someone else) and we are hoping to be able to do a range of prints. Can't say anymore now but will later on ... at some point ... maybe. posted by Jason 0 comments --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- March 27, 2006, 10:18 pmGreat weekend at the NEC. Just been busy updating the site with the new prints. Also updated the sketchbook on the right.Knackered at the moment after being at the show all over the weekend and then back to my proper job today. Boss out for the afternoon tomorrow so will probably slide off a bit earlier tomorrow - Tee Hee. Got a few more bits and pieces to put up but will probably do that tomorrow night. Sorry this isn't my usual witty jovial self. Oh and Clonetroopers is down to the LAST 4 PRINTS - When they're gone, they're gone!! posted by Jason 0 comments --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- March 23, 2006, 5:17 pmThe new paintings Alan has been working on for the last couple of months are now available as prints (just about) and will be available from our ebay shop later this evening. They will be available on our site after the weekend and will also be available at the NEC over the weekend.Special information for NEC visitors. Alan will have his sketchbook with him at the weekend and if you want to have a look you have to ask very nicely and give us the special passphrase (regular visitors to the blog should know that the passphrase is - Would you like a beer?). There are sketches in of stuff we've turned into paintings and stuff that we might turn into paintings so in a way you could actually be looking into the future........... Cool huh! AND if that isn't enough for you we will also have print number one of the latest 4 prints - Jules, Vincent, Dusk til Dawn and Heat. We don't normally have these available as we usually keep these for ourselves to get signed (perk of the job!). But obviously we aren't likely to bump into Al Pacino and George Clooney at a signing so we will let you LUCKY people get your grubby hands on them. Remember though - First Askz First Getz! DONT FORGET THE PASSPHRASE! posted by Jason 0 comments --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- March 22, 2006, 5:23 pmThe new competition is now up and running. A few entries have already trickled through.Usual theme. You suggest an image from a film that you would like to see painted. We pick the best 10 (in our opinion - it is our competition) and you get to vote. The image that gets the most votes gets the nominee, print number 1. We also heard from Model and Collectors Magazine and the interview should be in the next issue. posted by Jason 0 comments --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- March 21, 2006, 10:17 pmHere is the last new painting Alan has been beavering away on for the last couple of months. You all seem to have had no problems with guessing what the other three were so I'm sure you'll all know who this is.See you at the NEC. posted by Jason 0 comments --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- March 19, 2006, 6:35 pmHere's an update to the sketchbook at the side. Quite a few of you managed to recognise the image we showed earlier as George Clooney in Dusk til Dawn. The sketchbook image at the side shows the colourway Alan uses to work from. Also here is a sneaky peaky at another painting Alan is working on (knuckles to the bone and all that). Needless to say, this guy had a partner! So in the words of the great Shaw Taylor - Keep 'em peeled! Memorabilia is this weekend coming - we have only limited space available so will be only taking a couple of each print so if you are coming and wish to grab anything then either let us know or come early to avoid dissapointment. A note here to our American cousins. Due to currency fluctuations and other economic factors we have reduced the prices for prints to the US (or anybody who happens to buy in US dollars) by a whole 4 DOLLARS!. I know you can barely believe it but we are an honest bunch here at invisibleinc. posted by Jason 0 comments --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- March 16, 2006, 7:19 pmAlan is getting all excited at the moment. He is being interviewed tomorrow by Model & Collectors Magazine. Because of the shows that we exhibit at we've been seen a few times by the Editor of the magazine and he approached us at the Manchester show and asked if he could interview Alan with a view to writing an article on Alans paintings. We've no idea yet when the article will be published but I'd hope to see it in the next (or next but one) issue. I'll let you know when we know. posted by Jason 0 comments--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- March 12, 2006, 4:16 pmOK people, that's it, no more Mad Max2 prints are available they have all gone. To all the people who purchased one thanks for making it the first print to sell out.Last weeks picture featured in the sketchbook was a picture of Jed, Alans son. I have added a new image from Alan's sketchbook. This is something Alan is currently working on for the Pure Nostalgia collection. So what is being worked on currently. Well, I am sworn to secrecy although I can show you this. Who would have thought we would be painting an oscar winner. posted by Jason 0 comments --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- March 06, 2006, 7:15 pmThe company Alan painted the car commissions for has decided to produce them as limited prints for their customers.
