June 29, 2006, 11:35 amChange of plan. We were going to be working with Pure Nostalgia (our exclusive range partner) to be able to accept credit card payments for paintings. We have now secured exclusive access to one of those card swipey machine type things so we will now be able to accept Credit and Debit Card payments for PRINTS and for PAINTINGS. posted by Jason 0 comments--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- June 28, 2006, 3:07 pmOver the last few days we've been trying to work out what we are taking down to London. We will have a number of paintings for sale including the Pulp Fiction pair and the Interceptor. We've had numerous enquiries in the past about purchasing this painting so I would suggest that you contact us if you wish to purchase it before this weekend. Don't forget that we will be able to take credit card payments for paintings at the show. We will also have the last ever print of the Interceptor - Print number 50 available for sale this weekend. We will have at least ONE COPY of every print available along with a few Print Number 1s. If there is a print that you are particularly keen to get hold of then contact us. Remember there are a number of people signing at the show and at least 2 of our prints would be good to get signed like Luke/Leia – Carrie Fisher and Carbon Chamber – Dave Prowse. Alan will also have his sketchbook with him so if you want to see the original sketches in the competition and the one that didn't make the final cut just ask. Saturday lunchtime would be good as we like to enjoy a drink or three. It is also worth noting that the competition will close next as we have already received over 3000 votes. Another person who will be signing at the show is Elijah Wood and Alan's daughter, HarleyQuinn (11) decided that it is important to get Elijah's signature against a sketch of him in his greatest ever film role. You've probably noticed the Frodo sketch appearing a while back. Problem is, that wasn't the role she meant, she wanted THE GUY!!! (Elijah in SpyKids) Looks like Alan will be pestering Elijah with his sketchbook then. Alan has also completed a couple of new paintings and the new prints will be available for the first time at the LFCC. They will appear on line next week. Check them out below Frodo and Aeon will be limited to only 25 prints each. Alan is now working on a new car commission to sit with the other 4 (Shelby Mustang I believe), which he will complete before getting going on the competition winning painting. posted by Jason 0 comments --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- June 22, 2006, 6:13 pmPreparations are getting more and more underway at the moment for the London Film & Comic Con on the 1st and 2nd July.More carrier bags, more mounts more paintings. One other great thing we've managed to sort out is that we will be able to accept credit and debit cards for people wishing to by paintings. We will be working in conjunction with the distributor of our Exclusive Range - Pure Nostalgia, who will be next to us at the show. posted by Jason 0 comments --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- June 19, 2006, 8:33 pmYou may have noticed over the last week or so that I have been posting all of the sketches that Alan has been busy creating.Well now they are all together on one page now for you to view and vote on. Thats correct. I have come back from a very boozy wedding and now I present to you, our loyal and faithful readers, our brand new voting page. Please take a moment to click through and make your choice for the next painting you would like to see available from us here at InvisibleIncDesign. posted by Jason 0 comments --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- June 14, 2006, 9:05 pmI have here an extravagansa of sketches as Alan was keen to get them finished before tomorrow nights England game - which, theoretically should be an easy victory but I don't really want to pass any comment on as our first game should also have been an easy victory.Anyway, here are the last 3 sketches from suggestions made for the competition. Suggested by Matthew991 Suggested by Simon Egan Suggested by titch20367 I am going to my brother-in-laws on Friday for his wedding. Strictly speaking he's not my brother in law at all and won't be until August 2008 but it seems easier to say than my fiances brother. Regardless, because of this I will be putting all of the sketches up and the voting panel up early next week. A truly great suggested I think.Nicely suggested by chrisandbj posted by Jason 0 comments --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- June 09, 2006, 1:48 pmI'm going to put a few things up here as I plan on having a few days off so as I can watch the first few games in the World Cup.So, here is the finished picture of Eliza with Alan's daughter Harley holding it. We managed to contact the person who commissioned this piece after our appeal the other day. The painting will be winging its way over to Australia in July and we will be able to exhibit this at the London Film & Comic Con. There are also 2 more sketches to show - Blade (suggested by Tom) and The Crow (suggested by Stuart and Callum) I have to say, even though I'm not a fan of The Crow, I do think this will make a great picture! posted by Jason 0 comments --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- June 08, 2006, 7:58 amYou know, I love the smell of napalm first thing in the morning just as i'm eating my coco-pops!Next image here, suggested by Matthew Kearsley. posted by Jason 0 comments --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- June 06, 2006, 8:21 pmSuggested by Stevie Black. Thank you Stevie. GOD BLIMEY. There is no stopping the guy. In between managing our World Cup Dream Team efforts he's also banging out the sketchs faster than Peter Crouch can knock 'em past the Jamaicans. COME ON ENGLAND! DISCLAIMER. We at invisibleincdesign.com in no way endorse the ramblings of our blogger and do not wish to exclude the rest of World. We would like to wish ALL of the qualified times in this World Cup Good Luck and ... oh sod it. COME ON ENGLAND!! Tomorrow I will put mine and Alans Dream Team squads up for you to analyse and criticise. posted by Jason 0 comments --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- June 05, 2006, 10:12 pmAnother sketch for you to look at is this one suggested by loganalpha (not his real name!).You need to bear in mind that these are only rough sketches to show the level of composition Alan is looking for. Any one who suggests otherwise is disrespecting us, and disrespect me...YADA YADA YADA. posted by Jason 0 comments --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- June 04, 2006, 9:35 pmYou might have worked out from my earlier clue that we are working on a Terminator image. Well here is work in progress. We have been unable to contact the person who commissioned the Eliza Dushku painting. We have emailed them several times and they haven't responded. We don't know if they have changed email address or anything. If you are out there or know this person then please ask them to contact us. I would also like to know if you guys out there think we should run a print from it. Let Alan know Also, I mentioned a while back that Alan would try and sketch the images we are putting into a top ten for you to vote on from the competition. The competition closed last week and here is the first sketch. Once I have shown all the sketches (as Alan gets them done over the next week or so) I will put them all together on a page with voting so you can click away. Some of the suggestions have been duplicated so, we will put the first person who nominated the image or the person who described the actual shot we are doing, as the person who submitted the entry. So here is the first sketch as nominated for by David James King. posted by Jason 0 comments --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
