June 25, 2008, 6:44 pmHmmm. I know blogs have been a bit sparse but I have now completed the private commissions that I have been doing over the last couple of months and normal service will now resume. So whats new...I am working hard on the Indiana and Hellraiser competition winner paintings and hope to have them finished in the next few weeks. I'll show them here once they are a bit further on. Anyway heres a rather old and painless sketch to be going on with... I could see this as a really big painting....one day perhaps. Some bad news. Unfortunately we won't be appearing at the London Film and Comic Convention this year. This is due to Jason's imminent wedding and my summer holiday clashing with the dates (last year it was held in September and we thought it would be on the same date this year). This is especially annoying when you look at the guest list - Jason Mewes, Malcolm McDowell, Karen Allen etc. I am hoping to visit for one of the days and am trying to persuade Jason that we could include it as part of his stag weekend. Steve Penny of Pure Nostalgia will have a stand there and he will be selling our prints so if there is anything you want let us know and we will pass it on to him. I am hoping that he will have some Indiana prints if I can get the painting finished in time. He will be displaying the Dr Who painting on his stand as well. Although the painting is complete here are some more in progress pics.... Finally we are tidying up the site and will be adding the Wicker Man print and the Snowspeeder giclee over the next week. I have added the March Hare and Wicker Man prints to our ebay shop for anyone who can't wait. Anyway off to catch Wanted at the pics now (bound to be a painting in there somewhere - guns, girls, violence). Another update will appear sooner rather than later. posted by alan 3 comments --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
